Brøgger, a luxury women’s wear label designing jackets and coats, announces its first collection, Collection I. Championing outerwear as the tone-setting element in an outfit, Brøgger is dedicated solely to jackets and coats, fusing the designer’s distinct aesthetics with a devotion to craftsmanship in intelligent design and eminent quality.

Pre-fall 2017 introduces Brøgger’s multi-purpose approach to fashion. Featuring opulent jacquards, intricate Italian prints and louche velvets, the collection explores this approach through rakish wool outerwear, princely evening coats and handsome blazers with recurring nods to streetwear. Each garment embodies the functionality and versatility that are key to the label – as expressed in removable and reversible quilted linings, which also serve as standalone gilets, and detachable collars and hoods.

As part of the debut collection, Brøgger has worked with one-hundred percent by-product seal sourced from Greenland in a partnership with Kopenhagen Fur. In her sumptuous transformations of the sustainable Inuit fur - the hunting of which is supported by Greenpeace and WWF - Brøgger demonstrates the focus on expert techniques that lie at the heart of the label.

After a decade of working in London for some of fashion’s most acclaimed brands, Julie Brøgger has decided to bring her own creations to life. Co-founder Linn Norström Weile has a background in marketing and partnerships within luxury fashion and e-commerce, and together, the two Danes have joined forces to create a new label that embraces their mutual values of great design, quality and commerce. Rooted in Danish heritage, with added international references thanks to the brand’s London base, Brøgger celebrates standout design and craftsmanship.
